Making a Difference
Understanding policy and developing welcome, practical interventions
In Scotland:
MJI is increasingly about making a difference in Scotland by developing relationships with public service and not for profit organisations that would benefit from private sector perspective and by working with private sector organisations that can make a difference to the quality of life in Scotland.
The firm’s strength lies in the breadth and depth of relationships that it has built across Government and local authorities in Scotland, and across the broad range of public service providers and partners. This includes relationships with key members of every political party, think tanks and academia.
The firm is well positioned to broker relationships between companies and government or governmental bodies. MJI also facilitates collaborative working across the public sector, all with the primary objective of improving Scotland’s economic performance.
MJI has prepared a commentary on the Scottish Government’s Economic Strategy and Public Service priorities to assist public, private and third sectors to identify opportunities for collaboration and for delivering the Government’s priorities.
MJI has also prepared an interactive workshop that will help organisations to look behind the roles and named individuals in Government and elsewhere, to understand the interplay between key organisations, individuals and representative groups from Cabinet Secretaries and senior civil servants to Council Chief Officers and elected members.
“Who’s in the Zoo” will give your organisation an informed understanding of the what, who and why of Scottish Public Policy implementation.
